It was November 2007 and a group of 19 friends and relatives of Helen descended on Sea View cottage, Rhoseignr, Anglesey for a weekend in celebration of her 50th birthday.
Some of the crew - now mostly in their 50s - have been friends since their teens in Harlow, Essex. Others have been picked up and welcomed along the way. They are now scattered far and wide, from The Gower to Huddersfield, Manchester to Corby and Malvern to Belper, so reunions are precious events full of joy, reminiscences, shared interests and catching up. And a lot of fun.
